Driver's record of hours worked and POA. Time sheet submission. Automatic calculation of WTD average hours.

Driver's Work Record

The Working Time Directive places a limit on average weekly hours that can be worked.
LGV Drivers are subject to both LGV Driving laws and the Working Time Directive.
LGV Drivers are expected to keep a record of all hours worked and POA.
All Drivers have to 'phone in hours or submit time sheets.
This data can be saved to give the Driver a legal record of hours worked.
This data can also be used to calculate the WTD weekly average on behalf of Drivers.
In this application time sheets can be saved, viewed or submitted as and when required.
POA
Where a Driver is waiting, queuing or standing by, these hours can be recorded as Periods Of Availability, (POA). A Driver gets paid for POA hours.
POA hours, however, do not count in the calculation of average weekly hours.
WTD Hours = Paid Hours - POA Hours
Where there is no work record for a week, WTD hours are listed as 48.
