Minumum
Standards and Experience of Drivers employed
We employ drivers with varying experience
ranging from newly qualified to 30+ years C+E driving experience. We
also offer driver negligence insurance. Drivers who are covered by
this insurance must meet the following criteria:
Over the
age of 25 years.
Holds a
full driving licence with no unspent endorsements other than for
speeding and/or parking offences to a maximum of nine points.
Has held
an LGV licence or the required licence for the vehicle in the drivers'
charge for more than two years.
Has worked
as a driver of an LGV vehicle or the required licence for the vehicle
in the drivers' charge for more than 180 days in the last 24 months.
General Requirements:
Drivers must
have a good knowledge of the Drivers' Hours Regulations.
Drivers should
have a good geographical knowledge.
Drivers should
be smart in appearance.
Drivers
should comply with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration
Act 1996.
